HTA AlTiN stands out for its ability to withstand heat, wear, and abrasive contact in some of the toughest environments. Compared to other coatings, it offers a strong balance of hardness, adhesion, and thermal resistance—making it ideal for applications where high loads, friction, and elevated temperatures push materials to their limit.
While often used in high-speed machining, HTA’s value extends far beyond cutting tools. It performs reliably across a wide range of forming, forging, and industrial wear applications—especially where cooling is limited or dry conditions exist. Its ability to handle aggressive material contact without breaking down gives it a distinct advantage over coatings designed solely for general-purpose wear or low-friction use.
If your operation demands stability under thermal stress, resistance to abrasive wear, and consistent long-term performance, HTA offers a dependable, high-output solution that fits across multiple industries.
Our HTA coating is applied using the Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) process. This technique involves the cathodic arc evaporation of aluminum and titanium targets in a nitrogen atmosphere, resulting in a thin, dense, and adherent ceramic layer on the component’s surface. The process ensures uniform coverage, excellent adhesion, and minimal impact on the component’s dimensional tolerances.
